I still have my doubts about commercially available almond milk, but I have plenty of doubts about commercially available cow's milk also. But the "Further Reading" and "External Links" are interesting. lol I think people say that it's healthier because it's slightly lower in calories (don't quote me as I haven't compared for myself), but I don't believe being lower in calories automatically makes something better for you. ![]() Mostly because I'm trying to eat whole foods (closest to how they are found in nature) and I just don't understand how they "milk" almonds. I like the taste of almond milk (not so much for soy) but I switched back to skim milk. I love cow's milk, but I have tried both soy and almond milk when I was nursing my youngest son with a dairy sensitivity.
